Peter Lillback's Books
In order to provide you with the widest range of available materials by Dr. Lillback and others, Proclaiming The Word has partnered with the Westminster Seminary Bookstore. Some of his works in Progress at this time:
- Two children’s’ books on two very different subjects. Lessons on Liberty explains the faith and values of our forefathers by relaying interesting stories of their lives. The tentatively titled There Were Giants in the Land discusses science and the Christian worldview through study of the biblical text.
- He is preparing an article on the lost library of Francis Turriten, the great reformed theologian of Geneva one century after John Calvin. There were 1,000 boxed volumes of his writings stored in France since 1776 and virtually unexamined. His Elenctic Theology was used as classic theological text at Princeton during Charles Hodge’s days.
- He is studying and preparing a commentary on the ancient and recently discovered Letter to Roman Catholics from the Desert by Claude Brousson. He was an attorney who became an underground circuit preacher and escaped into the wilderness of France because of Louis XV’s Edict of Nantes, which banished the civil rights of all non-Catholics. He wrote this book, which somehow got published.
