Special Events

  • On the political front, Peter and other leaders are working to help candidates for the US Presidency focus on their position with respect to faith based initiatives (the fostering of participation by certain faith and community-based organizations to help Americans in need).  He would like to create public forums where candidates will be compelled to state their beliefs on these important public issues.

  • He would like to encourage the country to focus on the historic Christian values that shaped our nation’s history.  Subjects of the teaching would include defining marriage, religious expression in the public square, the challenge of maintaining free speech and religious liberty in a nation unwilling to confront Islam’s intolerance of proselytizing and conversion to other religions.

  • Peter is concerned with the country’s admittance of Islamic immigrants into the ranks of US citizenship when their religious beliefs seem to deny endorsement of the 1st amendment to religious liberty.

Westminster
  • Peter is hoping to unite alumni for a worldwide reunion.  Last year alumni gathered in 10 US cities.  Through modern technology, Peter hopes to bring up to the minute theological treatises and texts to Westminster grads throughout the world.  There will be an alumni gathering in Granada Springs, FL in February or March of 2008.  It is Peter’s hope to develop similar meetings in Florida on an annual basis, providing rest and retreat from the issues of the day.

  • He is also hosting a trip on the renowned Sea Cloud in July 2008.  He will teach on the missionary journeys of Paul as the Sea Cloud sails the Aegean and Mediterranean.

  • The students at Westminster are treated to Peter’s great teaching as his time allows.  During the winter months, Peter will teach on the Origins of Covenant Theology.  There will also be classes offered on Ancient Church History.

Proclamation
  • Finally, at Proclamation Peter is looking forward to preaching on the remainder of the book of Ephesians, chapters 4 – 6, from the month of September through June 2008.
